There is no too much butter.
These all look fine? How is a “perfect” cookie supposed to look like anyway? If they’re tasty, they’re fine in my book.

It looks great from the top, but it’s super flat and will fall apart in your hand (plus no space for a nice chewy core)
Although if the first batch of your cookies look like that you can chill your dough for 10mins and get the perfect consistency on the second batch ^^

So like, we had some friends visiting from out of town. And the husband goes to make toast. He finds someone has taken a bite out of the butter in the butter dish. Perfect indentation of their teeth. Who does he accuse first? Not his kids, but his wife. And he was right.
