    Could’ve been just a greasy hand when it was off and not hot. The patina can then build differently there because of the residue.

      That’s exactly it. If you touch the exhaust pipes of a motorcycle when it’s off, it will burn an imprint on when the engine is on. The oil burns and leaves a print

        Ok good cause this made me much more sad than making me laugh. Happy to hear this person likely did not suffer burns because of this.

      Lol yeah I have a handprint like that on my metal freezer door that I avoid wiping off when I clean it. I just need to add “We Know” underneath and then it’s certainly not like the dark brotherhood is aware of what is in my freezer

          It’s actually 6000 wheels of cheese waiting to cause the physics engine to shoot the fridge upward and break the speed of light as it fires into space and then promptly crash the entire simulation game
