5 days agoThere is Cesium. But the thing you actually need is the actual maps. There are free maps (many of them based on OpenStreetMap), but the fidelity you know from Google Earth is usually not free. Also if you also want to self-host the actual maps you need a tile server for that and lots of disk space because these tiles take up a lot of it…
It definitely has Peak vibes, but that must be coincidental as development must have overlapped quite a bit. Maybe it will get some traction if some streamer groups pick this up. It looks like it could get quite funny…
