Israel’s Channel 12 reported that the Israeli army is preparing to launch a large-scale arrest campaign targeting more than 40,000 ultra-Orthodox Jews (Haredim) who plan to travel to the Ukrainian city of Uman for the upcoming Jewish New Year. The pilgrimage, held annually, centers on visiting the grave of Rabbi Nahman.
Reminder, that the Ultra-Orthodox parties in Netanyahu’s coalition, didn’t break from him because they oppose anything that is being done in Gaza or the West Bank, but because he plans to end the exemption from conscription for Ultra-Orthodox Jews. In fact they still back the coalition in the legislature, but pulled their ministers.
it feels like the only thing that could end this type of fascism is the fascism itself.
